Welcome to phenorbital, the blog of Chris Hawley.
I’m originally from Leeds, but currently living in London working in development within the order fulfilment infrastructure group at Morgan Stanley. Prior to this I got my MEng in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick where I was involved in a number of different student organisations, primarily the student radio station (Radio Warwick) and also the tech crew society providing theatre tech services for the student drama societies and running the annual Warwick Student Arts Festival.
In my spare time I do some coding, and have made numerous contributions to the Choob project run by the University of Warwick Computing Society. I was also involved with the Science & Industry 2 modification for Half Life 2, providing hosting and other technical services. Other than this I enjoy listening to music and hanging out with my friends (usually with one or more drinks involved).
For the less thought out postings, you’ll probably want to look at my twitter feed, which is often full of mysterious ramblings about my activities. I also have a last.fm profile for my musical interests.
